Pablosky goes back to university

There are moments that mark a before and an after. And for us, this is one of them: Pablosky is returning to university. And we are doing so with 55 years of real experience designing children's footwear, thousands of pairs behind us... and an obsession you already know: the health of children's feet.

Today we are taking a giant leap: together with the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), we have created the first Chair of Research and Innovation in Children's Foot Health in Spain... and in Europe. Yes, all of Europe. That's no small feat.

What does this chair (really) mean for you and your child?

It means more science. More research. More clear answers for real families.
And more innovation applied directly to children's footwear.

For years, we have heard questions like:

  • "What is a healthy shoe?"
  • "Does this model respect their stride?"
  • "Is 0 drop good for my child?"
  • "When should I worry about the arch?"

This chair was created for that very purpose: to truly answer these questions with updated scientific knowledge and practical tools for parents, mothers, and professionals.

Science at the service of children's well-being

Under the acronym SAPI, this chair will research everything related to children's foot health from a preventive, scientific, and real-world applicable approach.

It won't stay in the lab: its objective is to bring the conclusions to the shoes that are worn every day at school, in the park, at birthday parties, and during those endless afternoons of "can we go out again?".

A top-level team behind it

The project is led by two leading podiatrists:

  • Dr. Gabriel Gijón Noguerón, Professor of Podiatry
  • Dr. Manuel Pardo Ríos, Vice Dean of Podiatry at UCAM

And accompanied by a team of recognized European experts:

  • Dr. José Manuel Castillo López
  • Dr. Cristina Molina García
  • Dr. Laura Pérez Palma
  • Dr. Laura Ramos Petersen
  • Dr. Eva Lopezosa Reca
  • Dr. Carolina Rosende Bautista
  • Dr. Marta Vinyals Rodríguez

Yes: a group of brilliant professionals thinking about something as essential as how our children's feet walk, run, and grow.

Innovation applied to real life

This project reinforces UCAM's and Pablosky's commitment to something very simple and very important: transforming science into family well-being.

It's not about headlines. It's about using knowledge to improve every step: flexibility, last, drop, sole, stability, comfort, and everything that influences how a growing foot develops.

Thank you, Pablo

This step also makes us look back fondly. To Pablo, our founder. The first Pablosky who started shaping a shoe at his kitchen table. His spirit—curious, brave, persistent—has brought us here.

Today we bring that legacy to the classrooms. And we turn it into real research for children.

Thank you also to those who entrust us with those little feet

To families.
To restless feet.
To those who are starting to walk.
To those who run without brakes.
To those who climb everything.

This project is also yours.

Signed:
The Pablosky team
